About Us — The Family Behind Baywood Casita

Welcome to Baywood Casita

Hi, we’re Kylee and Nick, and we’re so happy to welcome you to our little slice of the Central Coast.

We fell in love with Los Osos, California for its quiet coastal charm, walkable boardwalks, and close connection to nature. When we first discovered the Baywood neighborhood, we knew it was the perfect place to create a warm and welcoming getaway — a space that feels like home for families, couples, and anyone looking to slow down and enjoy the beauty of the coast.

A Coastal Casita with a Personal Touch

Nick is a biologist turned landscape contractor, and I (Kylee) am a lecturer in Natural Resources and Environmental Management at Cal Poly. Together, we share a love of the outdoors, good design, and meaningful travel experiences.

We purchased our home in 2016 and have been working hard to make it our own — while also creating a cozy and inviting space for guests to enjoy. Every stay helps us continue improving and investing in the property, from landscape updates to future bathroom remodels and yard projects we can’t wait to bring to life.

Why We Host

We designed Baywood Casita with families and pet owners in mind — because we’re both! Traveling with our two young sons (and our dog) taught us the importance of having a truly family-friendly place to stay. You’ll find little touches throughout the home — a crib and pack-n-play, toys, a fenced yard, and of course, a welcoming attitude toward your furry friends.

Our goal is to make sure you love Baywood and the Central Coast as much as we do — from sunset walks on the Elfin Forest boardwalk to exploring nearby Montaña de Oro, Morro Bay, and Edna Valley wine country.

Hosting has become a shared passion, and we now manage several unique vacation rentals in the area:
